Stage design with media elements for theatre play in Anklam/Zinnowitz, Germany.
Bright colors, timeless, minimalist interior, a flatscreen-tv in a bird's cage and a video rearprojection as the view from a room spice up the old-fashioned story of the classic British criminal comedy „Ladykillers“.
Two rooms are displayed in complementary colors on a revolving stage. The colors pink and green are also reflected in the costumes. The important main act „Mr. Gordon“, a parrot, is interacting with the actors as a life-size video character in his cage, as the ligtht technician lets him move and croak on specific cues.
